TRADEMARK CLASSES

Singapore uses the Nice Classification as prescribed by the Nice Agreement to classify goods and services for trade mark applications. There are 45 classes of goods and services, and the Nice Classification assigns goods to Classes 1 to 34, and services to Classes 35 to 45.

You may refer to the Class Headingsbelow for general information about the types of goods and services belonging to each class.

The class headings of the Nice Classification give general information about the types of goods and services which belong to each class. A specification indicating the class heading does not amount to a claim for all the goods or services in that class. This list is not exhaustive and serves as a quick reference to help you locate the correct class.
