Public lotteries conducted by businesses to promote products or services may be exempt from the Common Gaming Houses Act if they meet the conditions specified in the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) Notification 1997 (see Annex A for details).
Business organizations providing remote gambling services for customer lotteries may be exempt from specific sections of the Remote Gambling Act if they meet the conditions specified in the Remote Gambling Act (Exempt Persons) Order 2015 (see Annex A).

Administrative
- Include SCPB Reference No.
- Provide full particulars (Name, NRIC No., and address) of all winners and the prizes won in each category.
- Indicate whether all winners have claimed their prizes.
- Attach original acknowledgment receipts of prizes received by the winners.
Services
- If the total value of the prizes exceeds $10,000, include a newspaper cutting or screenshot of the online website displaying the draw details and results. This is required under the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) Notification 1997 or the Remote Gambling Act (Exempt Persons) Order 2015.
- Unclaimed prizes or their equivalent value after 2 months will be donated to Community Chest or an approved charitable organisation. Enclose an acknowledgment receipt from the organisation.
- For prizes given directly to participants, submit a report with redeemed and unredeemed prize details to the relevant authority within 3 months of the lottery's conclusion. Enclose an acknowledgment receipt from the organisation for donated unredeemed prizes.
