We are looking for an organised and experienced Assistant Accounts Manager to support the Accounts Manager in leading the team, overseeing client portfolios, and ensuring high-quality, compliant financial reporting.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Accounts Manager in supervising and guiding accountants and accounts executives.

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, tax computations, and other statutory reports.

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and IRAS requirements.

  • Review work prepared by team members for accuracy and completeness.

  • Advise clients on accounting, tax, and compliance matters.

  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency.

  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth client service delivery.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA/CPA qualification preferred.

  • 4–6 years’ accounting experience, with some supervisory experience preferred.

  • Good knowledge of SFRS, corporate taxation, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in a professional services or corporate services firm is an advantage.
