Outsourcing your accounting sounds simple until you start comparing quotes and realise every provider prices things differently. Some charge by transaction volume, some by revenue, some by a flat monthly rate that quietly excludes tax filing. None of that makes one approach wrong, but it does make comparing providers harder than it should be.
We looked at seven accounting firms operating in Singapore today, based on what they actually publish about their pricing, their process, and what's included at each tier. Here's how they stack up.
Margin Wheeler is included in this comparison. Information relating to other providers is based on publicly available information at the time of writing.
1. Margin Wheeler

Margin Wheeler has been operating in Singapore since 2011 and has incorporated more than 5,000 companies to date. Its accounting team is made up of ISCA-accredited chartered accountants with over a decade of collective experience, and it works as an ACRA-registered filing agent using QuickBooks for accounting and Xero for bookkeeping. Most clients work with the team remotely, submitting invoices, bank statements, and payroll records for the accountants to prepare books, financial statements, and filings, though free document courier collection and a custom-quoted onsite option are both available for businesses that would rather hand things over in person.
Ongoing accounting starts from S$100 a month, with year-end accounts and tax computation priced by annual transaction volume, and our full accounting pricing table breaks both down by exact bracket rather than leaving you to guess.
Margin Wheeler's Accounting Pricing at a Glance
Here's a sample of how the tiers look. These are drawn from the two calculators on our pricing guide, one for ongoing bookkeeping and one for year-end accounts and tax, and both run to considerably more tiers than shown here.

Year-end accounts, financial statements, and tax (by annual transaction volume):

Sleek was founded in 2017 and now serves more than 8,000 businesses in Singapore, alongside a broader footprint in Hong Kong, Australia, and the UK. It holds ACRA Filing Agent, MAS Major Payment Institution, and MOM Employment Agency licences, and every plan comes with an assigned accountant and IRAS-compliant tax return filing, all handled remotely with no paperwork required.
Pricing runs in three tiers: Annual Filing and Bookkeeping from S$75 a month for yearly bookkeeping, Accounting Essentials from S$90 a month for monthly bookkeeping with a 48-hour support commitment, and Accounting Premium from S$250 a month, which bundles weekly bookkeeping, payroll for up to five employees, a Xero subscription, and quarterly GST filing. The tiering makes it easy to match a plan to how often you actually need your books touched, and
Sleek says it holds a 96 percent customer satisfaction rating from over 16,000 survey responses. The entry tier only covers yearly bookkeeping though, so GST-registered or fast-growing businesses will likely need to step up sooner than they might expect, and quarterly GST filing itself is only included from the Premium tier down.
5. Counto

Counto was founded in 2019 as an AI-powered outsourced accounting service, pairing automation with a dedicated bookkeeper, chartered accountant, tax specialist, and customer success manager assigned to each client. It holds IRAS ASR+ Tier 3 accreditation, the highest tax-software accreditation available in Singapore, and says it was the first provider in the market to offer unlimited transactions regardless of plan.
That unlimited-transaction structure is the real differentiator. Counto lets you pick whichever pricing path works out cheaper, revenue-based or transaction-based, generated through an online calculator rather than published as a fixed table, which suits high-volume businesses like e-commerce or F&B operators that would otherwise be penalised for transaction volume elsewhere on a pure per-transaction model.
Contracts are billed annually by default, with a 10 percent surcharge if you'd rather pay monthly. Corporate secretary services start from S$325 a year as a flat add-on, and GST filing is included free only above S$1 million in annual revenue, with smaller companies paying extra. Since there's no published base price, you'll need to run the calculator or talk to the team to get an exact figure, and as a 2019-founded company, it has a shorter operating history than some of the older names on this list.
6. 3E Accounting Pte Ltd

3E Accounting has operated in Singapore since 2011 and is an ACRA-registered Corporate Service Provider and ACCA-approved employer, recognised in Singapore Business Review's Top 30 Accounting Firms list back in 2015. It offers both a digital process, where a dedicated accountant reviews documents submitted online, and a more traditional hybrid engagement over email or phone for clients who'd rather not work through a self-serve dashboard alone.
General bookkeeping starts from S$109 a month for dormant or very low-activity companies, with standard SME packages typically running S$200 to S$600 a month depending on transaction volume and complexity, per 3E's own published guidance. Where 3E stands out is its dormant company package, a flat S$500 fee covering the dormant management account and annual return assistance, useful for holding companies that don't want a recurring bookkeeping bill for a business that isn't actively trading.
Reporting frequency is the client's choice, whether monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or annual, which is more flexible than providers that lock you into one cadence. Most pricing above the standard SME range is quote-based rather than published as a fixed table, so getting a final number for higher-volume or more complex businesses still takes more back-and-forth than with Osome or Sleek.
7. SBS Consulting Pte Ltd

SBS Consulting was founded in 2010 as part of the SBS Group, offering incorporation, accounting, bookkeeping, tax, payroll, and corporate secretarial services under one roof. It runs a hybrid model, with digital bookkeeping backed by dedicated consultants rather than a purely self-serve app, and engagement starts with a call or a quote request to confirm your transaction volume before a fee band applies.
SBS publishes a genuinely detailed fee schedule split by volume band, low volume up to 100 transactions a year runs S$300 to S$800 for accounting services, medium volume up to 200 transactions runs S$400 to S$900, and high volume up to 500 transactions runs S$500 to S$1,200, with financial statements and corporate tax priced separately in similar bands. That level of public, line-itemised detail is rare among firms that don't rely purely on an online calculator, and it gives you a reasonable self-assessment starting point before you even make contact.
The trade-off is that every figure is a range rather than one fixed number, so the exact price still depends on a follow-up conversation, and businesses above 500 transactions a year fall outside the published bands entirely.

Why Our Customers Chose Margin Wheeler
Every provider on this list does something well, and for a lot of businesses, the honest answer is that any of the seven would get the books done properly. But when we ask our own clients what actually made them pick us over a cheaper calculator-based platform or a bigger regional firm, the same few reasons come up.
The first is pricing they can actually see. Our complete accounting pricing table is one of the only fully published, granular breakdowns in this market, broken down by exact transaction bracket rather than a "from" figure that turns into a bigger number once you're onboarded.
The second is the accountant on the other end of the email. Every client works with a real ISCA-accredited chartered accountant who knows their file, not a rotating support queue, and free document courier collection means you're not stuck scanning and uploading paperwork yourself if you'd rather hand it over in person.
The third is not having to manage the rest of your compliance separately. Because we also handle corporate secretarial filing, company tax, cloud accounting, and incorporation under the same roof, your accountant already has the full picture of your company rather than working off half of it.
If you're comparing your options and want to see exactly where your business lands on our pricing table, that's a conversation worth having before you commit to anyone on this list.
Complexity surcharges apply on top of these figures for intermediate cases like related-party transactions (roughly plus 30 percent) or higher-complexity group structures (roughly plus 60 percent), and XBRL filing is billed separately at S$300 for a simplified filing or S$500 for a full one. For the complete set of tiers beyond what's shown here, the accounting pricing table has the exact bracket for your transaction volume.
That table is genuinely one of the more detailed we've seen from any provider on this list, since it discloses those surcharges upfront instead of folding them into a vague final quote. The trade-off is that the brackets are fairly narrow, so it takes a minute to find the exact tier that applies to your business, and the onsite option still requires a custom quote rather than a published rate. If you're also incorporating or need corporate secretarial support, Margin Wheeler bundles that alongside the accounting service.
2. Swiftly
Swiftly launched in 2020 as a fully automated corporate services platform, and its accounting arm includes chartered accountants with backgrounds at firms like KPMG. Rather than fixed package tiers, Swiftly prices around actual usage: an online calculator generates a quote based on your transaction volume and how often you want to report, whether that's monthly, quarterly, or annually.
The appeal here is flexibility. You're not locked into a package sized for a business bigger or smaller than yours, and there's no extra charge whether your books run on QuickBooks or Xero.
Swiftly's own blog cites a market range of roughly S$90 to S$300 a month for smaller businesses and S$300 to S$800 or more for higher-volume ones, though those are general figures rather than a guaranteed quote for your specific business.
3. Osome
Osome is a digitally native accounting and bookkeeping platform operating across Singapore, Hong Kong, the UK, and the UAE, and it's helped more than 30,000 businesses globally. It's an ACRA-registered filing agent that combines automated bookkeeping, bank feeds, and receipt capture with actual accounting specialists, all accessed through in-app chat rather than phone calls or office visits.
Osome publishes three clear annual plans: Operate at S$75 a month, Grow at S$99 a month, and Scale at S$227 a month, each billed yearly. What stands out is that tax filing and management reports are included in the core plans rather than billed as separate add-ons, which makes budgeting more predictable than a bare-bones bookkeeping quote. The step up to the Scale tier is a meaningful jump if your transaction volume grows, and add-ons like GST filing or payroll will add to the headline price, but for founders who want automation paired with real accounting support and don't need a physical office to visit, Osome covers that well.
4. Sleek
